About Lauren Lenahan, LPC
I am a licensed professional counselor and serve adults in Oregon through Telehealth therapy.
I feel so fortunate to work with people who are stepping into a space to be vulnerable with another person. I believe openness helps us explore new parts of ourselves and forge a path forward with a deeper understanding of who we are and who we want to be.
I’m a warm, compassionate therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, identity, and major life transitions. My clients often describe feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to break old patterns — even when they’re high‑functioning on the outside.
Licensure Number: C7403
Approach To Therapy
I listen to what my client’s needs are and intentionally move forward on a path that is the best fit for my client.
I use a blend of bottom‑up and skills‑based modalities to help you understand your experiences, reconnect with your emotions, and build meaningful change. Therapy is a collaborative approach, and together we’ll journey forward.
Therapy approaches I use include:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy)
DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy)
IFS (Internal Family Systems)
Solution-Focused and Mindfulness-Based Approaches
What Therapy Feels Like
Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, breathe, and be fully yourself. You don’t need to have the “right words” or know exactly what needs to change. We figure it out together.
My Values
You’re allowed to show up without knowing where to begin.
Therapy should feel safe, non‑pathologizing, and collaborative.
We move at a pace that honors your readiness.
Goals matter — but therapy is fluid, not linear.
Healing happens through connection, curiosity, and compassion.
